今天是318太陽花學運一週年，台北市長柯文哲18日上午在與里長座談前受訪時表示，自己參選市長受學運的影響很大，而影響2014年最大的是318學運，而非11月29日的投票。
柯文哲表示，用歷史的角度，100年後回去看318學運，2014年其實影響最大的就是學運，而不是11月29號的投票，他說，投票的結果很大成分是因為學運帶動一系列公民運動引起的效果，他說，要用歷史的眼光看學運，學運在台灣歷史上的意義是公民意識的覺醒，台灣人、特別是年輕一代開始關心政治、關心週邊的事，包括自己的參選受此影響很大。
對於今日有可能再度產生擦槍走火之事，柯文哲表示，「該怎麼做就怎麼做」，他說，之前有跟警察局長說過，抗議的紅線區要清楚畫出來，公民社會還是要守法。對於有民眾表示，柯的當選源於學運的最大受利者，柯則表示，不需要對每個人說的話回應。
